Romantic Broadway at the Omaha Symphony

The Omaha Symphony is presenting two performances this Mother’s Day weekend, on both Saturday evening at 7:30 PM and Sunday afternoon at 2:00 PM. Allow Maestro Ernest Richardson to sweep you away with old-school love stories and all of the classics that mom loves. Talented vocalist, Tiffany Haas, will take the stage to dazzle with popular Broadway tunes. Snag tickets starting at $20 for one of the shows at Omaha’s Holland Center.

American Midwest Ballet Presents: Cinderella

This Mother’s Day weekend, celebrate the occasion with the world premiere of Cinderella during the 14th season of the American Midwest Ballet. This full-length story ballet is sure to be beloved across generations and is brought to Omaha’s Orpheum Theatre on both Saturday, May 11th, and Sunday, May 12th. This exciting new production is complete with skilled dancing, ornate costumes, and spectacularly designed sets.

Mother’s Day Sip & Shop

On Saturday, May 11th, Trucks & Taps is hosting a family-friendly Mother’s Day shopping experience from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Treat your mom to a glass of wine and peruse booths from over 20 local businesses with her. Vendors will be onsite to provide henna tattoos, readings, and even permanent jewelry sets. There will be several food trucks available for snacks and light bites, as well as free popsicles!

This 21 and up event is a great way to enjoy a night on the town with mom. Laugh the night away at this Omaha comedy club while enjoying drinks and a full dinner menu featuring tasty appetizers like a hummus platter and waffle iron crab cakes. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so make sure you arrive at the showroom with all guests in your party. On Saturday, May 11th, Leah Rudick is coming to town during a stop on her tour. Doors open at 8:30 PM and the show kicks off around 9:00 PM.

Blooms & Barks @ Urban Hound

If mom is the biggest dog lover you know, help celebrate her special day at the Urban Hound Dog Park & Bar in Lincoln.
